Legend - formed in July 1980 by Pete Haworth and Dave Whitley.

First Album: "Legend" released June 1981 - featuring Pete Haworth on Lead Guitar, Marco Morosino on Guitar, Eggy Aubert on Bass, Dave Whitley on Drums and Mike Lezala, Vocals/Acoustic Guitar.

Second Album: "Death in the Nursery" released May 1982 - featuring Pete Haworth on Lead Guitar, Eggy Aubert on Bass, Dave Whitley on Drums and Mike Lezala, Vocals.

Limited Edition 12" Single - released November 1982 - featuring Pete Haworth on Lead Guitar, Eggy Aubert on Bass, Dave Whitley on Drums and Mike Lezala, Vocals

Summer 1982 - Eggy Aubert quits the band due to serious Back injury.
Neil Haworth (Pete's brother) joins on Bass.

September 1983 - Legend start work on the third album - 6 track Demo recorded

Late January 1984 - Mike Lezala quits the band.

Search for replacement vocalist unsuccessful

Mike Lezala agrees to one last appearance - Marquee Club London - March 1984 - where new material is played for the first and last time.

May 1984 - Legend Disbanded




1998 - Collection of 14 Legend Tracks remastered onto CD
"Retroshock 1981-1984"


2002 - "Anthology" - Double CD Collection of all Legend material (inc the six track demo) released February 26th 2002
